Court Master got his season off to the perfect start when winning at Warwick on the 1st October. Ridden by Brendan Powell for owner Lynne Maclenann, this was Court Masters third win over fences from just his fourth start. He made all jumped brilliantly to win by 3/4 of a length. He is only 7 and looked to be very progressive last season, and has taken off this season where he left last season. He has gone up to a rating of 124, he has come out of the race very well so hopefully he can keep improving from here and there could be some nice targets for him to go for later on in the season.
Northern Beau went to Uttoxeter on the 25th September having a run over hurdles to put her right to head to her favourite course Cheltenham on the 23rd October. She ran her best race over hurdles to date by finishing second in what looked a very competitive handicap. She will hopefully now head to Cheltenham in great form, a course where she has already won twice. Czech Her out also ran on the same card having her first run since a wind operation following a disappointing run at Market Rasen last time. She ran miuch better here finishing fourth over 2m, ridden by Conor Brace she was out paced early before staying on strongly to finish 4th. She will now take a step up in distance and will hopefully head to Hereford on the 13th.
A Busy few days ahead with two runners at Kempton tomorrow evening including Cents in the City a two year old having his first run. Thursday sees the exciting Do Your Job having his first run of the season at Foss Las. The weekend hopefully will see Some Chaos head to Chepstow if the ground is ok, and last years impressive bumper winners Nada to Prada and Let Me Entertain you head to Hexham. All are in great form so fingers crossed for a good weekend.
