Lawmakimg followed up his Kempton win by winning in style at Newcastle yesterday! This was his second win in just three starts on the flat for us, ridden here like at Kempton by Liam Keniry for owners Marchwood Aggregates. He jumped well from the stalls, had a lovely position behind the leaders catching the eye with how well he traveled, when the gap came he powered through to win impressively by 1 3/4 lengths. Winning here off a mark of 78 the highest he has won off, he looks like he could really be improving the adding of headgear making a massive difference to him. He is a lovely big strong good looking type who hopefully can build on this we will wait to see how the handicapper reacts before making any plans.
Dinsdale went to Lingfield on the 21st July to have his first run in a handicap on the flat ridden by Liam Keniry for the first time for owner Martin Jones. He was stepped up to 1m6f having run over shorter in his maidens. This was a good first run back staying on to finish third having just been done for a turn of foot at the start of the home straight, before staying on well to take third. He will stay on the flat for the time being before going back hurdling, a step up to 2m is on the cards for him next though.
